Steering Committee
We have organised an external Steering Committee, comprising six members drawn from the user community and from leading international researchers in the THz field
The initial members, all of whom have agreed to serve, will be Professor Martyn Chamberlain (University of Durham, Chair), Professor Federico Capasso (Harvard University), Professor Jerome Faist (ETH Zurich), Professor Carlo Sirtori, (University of Paris 7), Dr Stuart Parkin, (IBM Almaden), Dr Peter Huggard (STFC), Dr Ian McConvey (Astra Zeneca) and Dr Katie Blaney (EPSRC). This Committee will convene twice per year, once by telephone and once in person at the time of the Programme Review meeting, to review progress and plans; to advise on technical and management matters, including knowledge transfer and the Impact agenda; and to advise the Board on resource allocation in advance of their annual resource allocation meeting.
